John Jackson My daughter, Rebecca, is searching for surviving family of her violin teacher, David Arben, now in his 80s and residing in Philadelphia. His father, Abraham Arbeitman of Poland, had a sister who married an Argentinian of the family name Morell (sp?). Years ago they lived in Buenos Aires. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
John Jackson New to this amazing site, I searched it a bit more after my first post. I am hoping someone knows more about the descendants of MOREL ESTERA ARBAJTMAN (died 12/7/78, buried Tablada Cemetery in Buenos Aires). I My question is whether she might be the same Ester Arbeitman who arrived by the ship Francesca from Trieste, Italy, landing in Buenos Aires 2/1/10. This person, aged 9, is listed as Russian/Hebrew and arrived the same day on the same ship as Chajke, aged 11, Penine, aged 7, Jacob, aged 28, and Feige, aged 27. Can anyone tell me more about this woman who may have married a Morel and her surviving family?
