Comments: I belong to the Chichilnitsky famly and according to my family records, Isaiah Chichilnitsky live with his wife Shifra and they lived in the town of Chichilnick in 1835. they had 5 children Khos (my geat grandfather), Chiam, Avrom, Moishe and Raisa. Avrom, Moishe and Raisa went to Argentina and Kohos and Chaim to the US. I have an old image of Khos and the family as well as a small family tree, if anyone is interested in. Comments: My grandfather, Harry Cohen, changed his name from Chichilnitzky at Ellis Island when he emigrated to the United States from Minsk Guberniya around the turn of the century (~1900). His brother Charlie retained the family name Chichilnitzky and another brother Willy changed his name to Kahn.

Comments: My grandparents on my Fathers side were Edith and Willy Kahn born 1907. Formerly william Chichilnitzky and his wifes name was Edith maiden name Barshatsky.I am very interested in learning my family history, since they have both passed and I am unable to ask them. tHey lived in Brooklyn, New York from about 1935. Last place of residence was on Ocean Avenue. Thank you very much for any information you may have.

Comments: Does anyone have any information about an Ida Chichilinitzky? At some point, her name was changed to Cohen. She would have been born around 1902, married a Morton "Max" Mazo and had two daughters (Shirley and Rita). I am having a difficult time finding anything about her.
