Comments: On July 2nd, 1915 my Oma was born in NE Germany. Her maiden name was Bielski. She died in Atikokan,Ontario,Canada in 2001. To my knowledge the german/polish border at that time kept jumping, hence the polish surname, but she was german. My daughter did some research on the surname and found it to be of Polish/Jewish descent. I find it awesome that I may be jewish, but my question is can anyone find her parents? and where were they from?
